Looks like the patch notes for World of Warcraft were leaked ahead of time again. This time for version 1.6.

Some interesting changes.

Edit: They are real.

• It is a pickup raid with a Queue.

• No one listens.

• You can’t do it as a guild.
–– Edit: Why you can’t get in AV as a guild: load up a 40 person raid, and have the leader join. You will wait indefinitely. Not enough horde are around. Whisperwind has not had more than 1 BG open yet. That is because there is not enough Horde.

• There are super NPC mobs that run around 2-hit-killing people.

• No one listens.

• Guards make it just like Tauren Mill at times (many times).

• No one listens.

• You wait 2 hours to get in.

• Not enough horde.

• Horde leave when Alliance are winning. (alliance always has replacements, so its not a prob on the other end)

• Your not placed in the raid at the start.

• you cant pick a leader.

• No one listens.

• People asking what the BG loot is for EVERY 2 seconds.

• Need more priests? You can’t just invite some in.

• Ninja looting of player bodies.

• Hight Latency.

• Not enough horde to play mid-day at all.

• It was just hype.

• Don’t forget — you can play the game while you wait!
Roam around and play! You can even run instances while in queue — you’ll be ported straight into the Battleground when the time comes. 🙂

And after all that, this is a reason you should buy World of Warcraft?

Also: This is one reason I am so disappointed with AV. AV is what battlegrounds SHOULD BE and what battlegrounds were said to be. This CTF stuff was sprung on us. I’m not saying CTF is bad, it’s just it feels like it was added BECAUSE AV was not going to work. June 10 7:27am

This was my first raid on Onyxia in retail. Went really well! I went along with Band of the Red Eye after we wiped bad on Majordomo Executus in Molten Core. Good fun, a relatively quick fight, and we did it on the first try.

[Nemesis Skullcap] Dropped. I guess it was the 4th time Band of the Red Eye had it drop. And since I was the only warlock in the raid, they let me have it!

I guess the stats will be nerfed next patch. But might be buffed again once Blackwing Lair opens. Either way, Its a kick ass hat!

It looks just like a hat I saw on an NPC Gnome in Tanaris back at the start of Retail. Always wanted it. Now all of a sudden got it and had no clue it was a Warlock epic.

I’m gonna have to take it easy on WoW this week, been hammering at MC Friday and Saturday night now. Don’t wanna let it get out of control.

World of Warcraft Gallery: Onxyia Raid – June 4th

Tonight I finally got my Dreadsteed. The Dreadsteed Quest line is long and hard. Though thankfully the last step can be made easier on your pocketbook if you have a friend who already did it, and still has the Items they bought to do it. Siggy offered to let me use his stuff for a relatively small tip some weeks ago. So finally, tonight, I asked him if it was possible to do the quest in the coming days. “Yup” In the coming hours? “Yup. 15 mins?”. Then I find out he already has some people going to DM and they will take me!

So off we go to DM, this being my first run on the West side too. Neat place. Warlocks are useful in it, just like all of DM. Get to the end, and swap out Cyrithor for Siggy, and he comes in explains the event to us, and we do it! At the end I talk to the Ghost of my Dreadsteed and gain the ability to summon him!

Big thanks to Siggy, Cyrtihor, Valoric, Aechmea, and Daeran for taking me on the run to get it.

Here is another QTVR I put together, this time out in the middle of Blackrock Mountain. And no, I don’t know Adlidi, he was just standing in my way :). I am finding better and faster ways to get this done, and I hope to make many more soon.

Last night I copied my char over on to test with no problems, so, I logged in and took a look at what epic mounts were in Ironforge. Some are real cool looking, I love the new machnostrider, and will eventually, have to get one after I get my Epic Warlock mount. Gnomes look like they are riding around on little thrones when they are on them. Then, I went off for some PvP, but only found a little out front of Stormwind, we totally out numbered the small group that ventured there, it was kinda sad. I hope Alliance vs Horde ratios are not so amazingly out of whack that horde never have a chance when this patch goes live, and people play on their own servers. And no, I did not head to Southshore, I hear a huge battle raged there, but I also heard it was full of lag. Same with the arena in STV, seems people actually will use it now!

But, what I had a lot of fun with was going to see Onyxia once again. The last time I was in the lair was in Beta, and I was like level 49 (how silly of me). We assembled in about an hour, with dueling out front while we waited for everyone. We ended up getting a VERY balanced group, enough priests, enough mages, and a GREAT leader who was also to be our tank. Inside, he described the whole fight in detail for those who migh have not been here yet. Once we were ready to go we set down the winding path of the lair to the first Guard. And, in quick succession, we took down all the guards with no problems (I think I person somehow died). Then we saw her, grumpy as ever sitting surrounded by her eggs. At this point the leader reiterated a few points to remember, and we buffed up. Sadly though, things did not feel right when the sounds of buffing stopped, and chat fell dead. –the server died– 🙁 I, and many of our raid felt we had a very good chance with her, but, we were cut short just as we were ready to engage. I hope the dogcows can take her on soon, it was fun being in her lair one more time.

Blizzard just updated their under development page with some stuff that was in the Leaked (here too) patch notes.

Not everything might make it into the patch, considering what might have leaked was an in-progress, not final, list. But this lends it’s self to make me have hope 95% of the stuff is true.

Check out the Under Development page on blizzards website for what they are so far telling us is officially be in the next patch.

It appears that the patch notes for the next “big” World of Warcraft patch were leaked.
And, in my opinion, they look legit. The wording feels like Blizzard, and some of the obscure (real bugs) would have been quite a job to “make up”. Caydiem even has a sticky post up on WoW – General about it.
